Late last year in November, Missus and I went to Death Valley National Park for a 3 day vacation.
I have been wanting to visit the park for quite sometime and eventually made it.

Sury,
Of your 3 photos, I like the second shot the best. That landscape seems conducive to panoramas.
I like the website that you posted too.

Sig,
Thank you. DV is one amazing place. The expansive vistas are such a treat for taking panoramas.

Hi, Sury;
I must say, your Flickr account has more treasures than you displayed here: some of the views/scenes are incredible and dramatic especially when viewed at a higher resolution spanning the whole page. The salt desert, craters of different natures, interesting rock formations, sand extending for miles and the conical mason huts/dwellings/roadside shops(?) which I just adored!
Very good gallery and your wife looks good and happy in some shots too! The solitary scenes are wonderful wall-piece candidates. These nature scenes are very tranquilizing and captivate the imagination.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Yildiz,
Thank you for taking time to check my Flickr account as well. I try not to overwhelm the thread here.
The next two images are Ubehebe crater in Death Valley National Park.

Interesting scenes of isolated vastness there, Sury.
Pretty scary to be there without provisions and vehicles.
I like the first one the best among these good coverage.
Thanks for sharing,

The expansive vistas are to be seen. Thank you Yildiz.
Zabreiski Point. Star Wars fans should be able to recognize some of the landscapes.

The expansive location certainly has good texture and diverse shapes and colors that blend well to create a desolate but enigmatic place. Good choice for filming….
Thanks for sharing, Sury.

Re: Death Valley, California
Indeed, Yildiz. Thank you.
Devil's golf course.
View of Zabrieski point from the valley. From Devil's golf course. Somewhere yonder on those hills is Zabrieski point.
Badwater Basin, Death Valley. The white expanse you have seen from Dante's point (one before previous set) is this land.
There water is too salty and early explorers called it bad water because horses wouldn't drink it. Beyond being saltine, nothing
wrong with the water. At this point you are at the lowest point in NA. You at the southern end of the valley looking north.

Interesting names for the particular spots. The Badwater salt crystal formations look like they were always there. Who knows maybe the salt has some therapeutically curing properties that built up over a long time…

The first is absolutely beautiful and has great shapes, textures and colors! There's a uniformly chaotic highs and lows shaped by precipitation…
Thanks for sharing one of the most enigmatic spots on the planet, Sury.
