It Was a Matter of Time (Last Ones) I Lied volume X

Unread post by jbtaylor »

before my wife had to get another dog. She made it 3 months after our last had passed. The signs were there. Interacting with the dogs in our neighborhood. Then checking out designer breeds on her phone. And then it came. There was a puppy in Eastern PA that she wanted to investigate. Soft words for a hard plan.
I knew the end game. We would visit the farm. She would get a puppy. Our lives would change again. To the farm we went.

I took the camera along for the ride knowing full and well that I would be documenting the beginning of another journey. So I took the best lens I own.

It was a matter of time before we heard/saw the good news too… :)
You presented the story of this story of new friendship-for-life so well, JBTaylor. The farm photos are lovely and the new companion appears to be a very gentle creature and I know it's going to be a tight and happy friendship all round. Happy to witness this love story.. :)

Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder…
:) But this lady is a heart stealing magnet and she is well equipped as an invisibility girl by blending in nicely with the background. More fun!

Thanks for sharing, JBTaylor. Does she have a name to match her beauty yet? :)

Thanks Yildiz. Yes, the wood chips at the playground were the perfect background for Cheerio. Makes her eyes stand out. You read that right, Cheerio. Her name derives from the fact that whole grain Cheerios were the only thing she would eat when we brought her home. She has since moved on to regular dog food but the name stuck.
One last image for now.
