That is a really beautiful shot Gustav - thank you for sharing with us. Stunning colours and you have captured a great angle to show off the plummage across its wings. Wow Kingfishers, vultures, dragon flies, landscapes. I am gob-smacked. Thank you to the Doc and Yildiz for the links. I am going to have to go and lie down in a dark room to recover from all those great shots. Great to have you on the forum Gustav, you have produced beautiful images.

Wow Gustav, your images are fantastic. I am also a really big fan of kinfishers. The Malachite Kingfisher is my favourite of all. I think yours is the Half Collared Kingfisher. Maybe you can confirm this. I post a few of my images for you to see.

More great pictures Robbie - definately not too many - you can not post too many great shots like that. #2 is my favourite with the ruffled feathers. It will be interesting to hear your stories of how you get these great shots in your part of the world compared to Gustav in Holland.
