Unread post by aster »

Hi,everyone; :)

A blooming tulip brings some cheer and smiles during confinement days this spring… :) Glad to see new and fresh life emerging among all the bad news.

Please don't hesitate to share your season's flowers in this thread.

This image was shot with a Sony a580 and Tamron 60mm Macro. I used a Metz 15-3 macro flash to compensate for the wind.

Nice Tulips with pleasant bokeh, Yildiz.
Yellow bearded Irises were always a challenge for me, nicely done Fotogeorge.

From the frontyard. With Tamron 60f2.

Thank you, JBTaylor, Sury and thanks for the lovely specimen of bearded iris Fotogeorge. Nice details and a neat yellow wholesomeness there! :)

Sury, neat closeups. I like the little florets at the center of the blooms and the vivid petal colors. Flower on flower type of development… :)

Thanks for sharing everyone. Please continue..

Hi,

The tulip this morning and the Asian Lily in progress… :) Hoping to see some colors to top that green.

Yildiz,
Thank you. Credit goes to missus. Sometimes I think she does this just to provide me the opportunity to use my camera.

There's something beautiful happening on the centric elliptical folds of a rose every time and you captured it well albeit the bloom looks a bit tired, maybe because of dehydration.. :) But the lily shows off all its glory with the striped details showing translucently.

Thanks for sharing, Sury. :)

Hi, Sury; :)

The first photo with its focal length, bokeh and composition is just great but all of the flowers are beautiful in these posts. The mini aloe vera almost looks alien … :)

Not the same high quality as those already posted, but here are some first impressions from this year's blooms.
Do I really need to tell what lens I used?
