Back in early March I embarked on what was to be my first ocean cruise from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale via the Panama Canal. It had been on my bucket list for a number of years. Unfortunately at the first port of call in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico the cruise was abandoned.
Thankfully it was our tour company's responsibility to get us home and or find us temporary accommodation. After one abortive attempt to fly back to the UK via the USA the following day, my partner and I found ourselves "stranded" at a 5 star resort in Nuevo Vallarta for the next 5 days. Compared to many in similar situations we were very fortunate.
Here are some of the images taken during our enforced stay.

Love them Ossie. Your situation was a classic example of "when life deals you lemons, find a lobster to squeeze it on".
I take it you have managed to reach home safe and healthy. Looking forward to more...
