since I rock and rolled.
Traveled to the east coast of Virginia. Yes, for golf. But I got a chance to visit the small town of Cape Charles.
Bad weather. Bad light. Limited software capabilities.

My travel footprint is much smaller than yours.

The last travel I did was a few weeks here in Japan in January just before the coronavirus pandemic.

I decided to create a photo thread of one of the places we went to finally after 50 years to see the Jigokudani Snow Monkeys:bakubo wrote:The last travel I did was a few weeks here in Japan in January just before the coronavirus pandemic.

Re: It's Been a Long Time
JT,
I found bracketing to come to rescue on a bad light day, more than once. But Nature is what it is.
You have to work with it. I liked the second one. I think first one would have benefited from a bracketed shot
or even built-in HDR feature of the camera.
Henry, looking forward to the thread.

Re: It's Been a Long Time
No excuses. Had not shot with the RX1 in a while. Bracketing never occurred to me and am not sure that it would work if handheld. One thing for sure, the free version of Capture 1 for Sony is lacking in essential tools that are and were provided in Lightroom. Time to make an upgrade. I feel like the composition was correct but the technical side (as usual) is where I fall short. As I said, no excuses.
Still, it was good to get out with a camera in my hands. Been too long, or should I say "Been a Long Time...".
