Photo of swans was taken in three places in the huge park. In one place of the river, they managed to film the battle of swans for the other half of the family. These are the largest swans in the world. The large Canadian goose looks like a very small duckling next to a swan...

Wonderful set Valery. #3 is my favorite.

Valery, I'll repeat myself again and again and say that you have the most wonderful natural environment.
All are very nice with #3 and #4 being my favourites for comprising intriguing moments of interaction between the geese.
4th frame: They appear to be dancing to a ritual... so aesthetic with their wings showing full span and fine details.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Re: Minolta (Sony) 500F8 Reflex
I did it. Or at least I think I did it. I have been struggling with getting sharp images with my Minolta 500f8.
Eventually I tried it, learning from this thread on the right technique(s). What do you think?
Sharp enough?
This one is a crop from a set that were taken without the normal filter in the lens. There are three schools of thought on this filter.
One does not believe the filter makes any different, the other believes filter does some correction. The third believes the filter actually
compromises the quality and should not be used. Oh, well....

Success ! You did it, Sury;
Love them.
They look absolutely great to my eyes... The cropped last one is a little grainy but that could be expected at this crop rate. That the bird is actually perched must have helped the success as well.

I dig how the background embraces the bottom of the feeder in the first image. The bird stands out.
Magic.
