Some recent experiments with 100f2.8

Unread post by sury »

I have been experimenting with light and flashes with 100f2.8 mounted on my A99M2 and having a lot of fun, not to mention
learning a thing or two about the my set up and technique.

This one is at f18, 2.5s, no flash but the flower is painted with light with a flash light.

This one is at f8, 1/13s, no flash and PWL with flash light.

This one is taken around 4pm in sunlight. I used f29, yes it is NOT 2.9 and 1/20s shutter speed, sunlit from left and used a flash
to get a dark background (inverse square law).

.

Neat shots, Sury.
The lens sounds good for many shooting experiences. I like the isolation of the flower in the second shot very much.

Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Yildiz,
Thank you. I have been enjoying that lens and my camera a lot lately as I am focusing on (no pun intended)
composition and experimenting on static subjects.
