My attempt with Minotla 500f8 Reflex Lens

Unread post by sury »

Taken with Sony A99M2. We had a very gloomy and cloudy day. So I could not try the settings that Valery and Sig have used with great success.
These were taken indoor, camera on tripod, no flash, long exposure shots. Some are at auto ISO and some at at ISO200. Please let me know what you think.
Shutter 1/20s, f8, iso1250

Using Sony preset for BW.

I always wondered about this lens it looks quite good, but I was never sure I'd have a lot of use for it. Interesting shots

I agree. I am hoping to capture BIF one of these days and it will prove its worth in its (lack of) weight compared to my 70-400G.

I never attempted a long exposure with this lens. Good shots. Really like the first one. :)
