A Crows' Story - Compassionate Friends

Hi, everyone; :)

Although the photos are not as sharp as I wished due to camcorder focusing on random spots, I wanted to share the real-life story of two crows that come to my room's window sill for bread cubes which I specifically leave for them.

I named them 'Olive' which has his left wing injured and hanging and 'Oil' is the one on the right, looking perfectly healthy.

The touching story is that 'Olive', although injured, picks the bread cubes one by one and feeds 'Oil' who waits alongside.

'Olive' since is healed and much better and still visits my open window to check on me on sunny days.
There's something 'humane' about that big bird!

I hope the lesser quality of the photos don't bother you and you can follow the photo story. :D

Enjoy!

That is a touching story, Yildiz. I read the story and saw the photos with the story going through my mind.
This is a perfect example of photos conveying emotion and everything else becomes background. It mattered
least to me, the quality of the photos, like I noticed or cared. :)

Well, I was misty eyed, so I hardly noticed the back focused photos. :D

:) I too was 'mist'ified when I realized what was happening and grabbed my camcorder... Saw something like this happen for the first time in my life, at least with crows. They are known to be smart birds though. They can use tools and solve minor problems hence overcoming obstacles.
