Very nice shots of SF Bay, Sury. :)
Love the sailboats and the glimpse from the deck of the yacht. The house on stilts is in a league of its own with the boat and all.

Thanks for sharing,

:) JBTaylor, those are some neat captures; lovely bonding between daddy and son and a little reality check from the woods: "there are creatures living a life of their own."

I was watching a pigeon checking the water for a morning bath - 06 August 2010 - 10:09 am ( 5 sequential stills )

Sony camcorder - stills converted from a video footage as I was recording a very eccentric pigeon who was absolutely crazy about the water...

On a freezing, snowy and dull Istanbul day, I saw that someone tied some balloons on the iron rail partition... and they stood out!

Cool photos!

I remember a spot with balloons and here is a photo I took on 2014/4/13 there. People could pay and shoot bottles. Maybe they could also shoot the balloons?

I believe you are spot on, Henry! :D

Probably the frosty weather conditions proved too much for any soul to be out there to earn a living, hence the fast-abandoned state...
I saw nobody there all the while I was composing the photos or during my walk along the pier.

Thanks for sharing your lovely memory of Istanbul shores! :) That scene looks relatively warmer, albeit the overcoats...
