Sury, thank you. :)

These three that you uploaded are great but especially the 1st is a charmer with even light diffusion, details and wonderful colors. :D
The second is great in details of the pollen and creased, creamy petal details but the dark shadow across the fine petals are intrusive.
The 3rd suffers a little from being cut short from a full display because of tight cropping and the -out-of-focus - leaf at the top but is a beautiful flower.

Nice composition. "Yesterday, today and tomorrow".
I like the vibrancy of the those oranges.

June 21, 2012. Alaska. On the way to Arctic circle on Dalton Highway.
On the right as you see it is Trans Alaskan Pipeline. The contraption at left is called a PIG (Pipeline Inspection Gauge).
If you notice the pipeline with its brackets rests on concrete platform and is not fixed. This allows for the pipeline to move
sideways in case of earthquake. The towers next to pipeline are heat shields that are dug up to permafrost level and filled with
Sodium. The oil flowing through the pipe generated heat due to friction and the Sodium takes the heat out of permafrost and dissipates
into air and thus preventing the permafrost from melting.

On a midnight Sun tour to Arctic circle and further north.
Enter Olnes city, population 1. What happens if the town mayor lost the election. Don't laugh. I often argue with myself and lose the argument.

Dalton Highway. Fairbanks, Alaska to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. It is covered in ice during winter. Initial series of TV show, Ice Road Trucking was shot on this highway. They moved the location in later parts to Winnipeg.
