This is a fascinating bend on that road. The road coming from left is a 15% downhill, makes a sharp left and goes up at 13% gradient. Imagine driving on this in winter where roads have sheets of ice on top. So a truck hauling huge load has to come down at a certain speed such that it is slow enough to make the turn and yet fast enough to maintain the momentum to climb up the 13% gradient. No wonder, the drivers feel what the road sign says.

We went about 10 miles north of Arctic circle. This location is on top of a hill. The time is around 2AM in the morning.
Look at the daylight.

The sunsets about 10% of the bottom and starts rising again. The dots you see are not sensor dust but the mosquitoes.
No wonder, Alaskans call them their state bird.

This "looking back" from your sets was interesting, Sury. :)
Mountainous roads are never dull and get some nicknames too as it appears ...

Thanks for sharing,

Sury, I like how they just throw out a rug with a white line on it to show the location of the arctic circle.

Yildiz, nice shots of the Agapanthus.

Before I acquired CZ24-70f2.8, I bought a Sigma 24-70f2.8. No CZ but not a slouch either. On A700 circa 2012
