I would love to visit Turkey again! My 2014 trip was wonderful. Still waiting for a vaccination here in Japan. They are very slow here.
All in good time. Every sensible human is waiting to be vaccinated... (we heard that some don't believe that there's a virus around. Today's BBC News.)

Be safe and happy,

Yildiz

Those of you who can't view my photos I am assuming you haven't set Display images within posts to No in your User Control Panel. Right?

As we know, most people can view them.

In my set is yes, if I swich to no, I can see only links to pictures, no pictures at all. :)

I did a little digging and found that your links are using spaces, and this forum is based on a php language that doesn't like spaces like this. Pictures open if you use the right mouse button option and open them in a new window or tab. :D

Valery and Henry;

Lovely ladscapes. I remember these photos from years ago. :)

Also, when uploading, if Henry removes the [.img.] tags from beginning and end of his photos' url's there appears a direct and dynamic/functioning link to the photos and they open in a new page.

Here's my trial at this approach. You can see this by clicking 'reply with quote' sign of my post .

Here they are: the photos already have the links embedded in the url.

Well, I have been posting these links on this forum since 2007 with no problems. So it must be a new problem. Can you explain why it works for most people, but not 2 of you? That is an interesting question. It might be that you have a computer problem or an ISP problem or something else.

Henry;

Since this happens on the computer's EDGE browser and since I can view all your images on my Samsung cellphone, here's what I found:

I used to be able to see the same photos years ago when you posted them to the forum and the Challenge thread.

Since the Windows 10 upgrades the security settings and the Edge browser interface and settings changed from day to day. Security may be a good reason.

Windows Edge Browser and Chrome show that there's a 'NOT SECURE!' warning for www.bakubo.com.

Internet Explorer doesn't and all of your photos show on the forum pages.

We used to have only Internet Explorer for Windows in 2007 and for a couple of years after that year. IE doesn't show any security warning as you'll see.

Thank you Aster!
Aster is partly right about how security works. Plus, as I noticed, the forum uses php and possibly the old version. I use the latest versions of chrome, ms edge, firefox and opera, even my tablet and cellphones have android 10 with latest browsers... I don't have internet explorer. It's for a simple reason, I check what I wrote for the servers and sites. We can, of course, continue to deal with bugs on the forum, but I think it's easier to get around these bugs.

Sury ! pictures are good, I am surprised by what cameras and lenses, etc. you have! 😉

Valery,
Thank you. When the Dimage A1/A2 came, the camera had a18-200 lens with macro on either end. So this guy in Hongkong started making a custom bracket for Olympus 300 (3x converter) that fits DimageA1/A2. I bought a Tcon14B which is a 1.4X that could be stacked with Tcon300b. The teleconverter would simply sit in front of the A1/A2 with lens fully extended.

With Tcon300B on the custom bracket.

This is with Tcon300b + Tcon14b for a total of 4.4X at 200mm = 880mm fl.

Hmm, interesting shots of the flowers with tendency to use a back-lit format...

Sury, with such camera and lens displays, you make me feel like you've been collecting lenses since the Old Testament times or the like... :D
Like the lab of an archaeological department for camera gear; such combinations I never saw existed.
You make the thread title work indeed.

Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz
