My recent trip to Colca Canyon

Unread post by the_hefay »

In March I had a chance to return to Colca Canyon. This is the most beautiful time to go as everything is green from the rain.

Beyond any words... :)
What a deceptively neat scenery; there are some dangerous heights indeed.

Thanks for sharing, Jeff.

Jeff,
Once again it is great to have you back in the forum. As always that is a wonderful set.
Peru in general, Machu Pichu in particular, and Huayana Pichu specifically has a personal significance
in my life.

Returning home the wind really picked up and it was a little cold, as you can see in my wife's face.

The nature is brilliant in Colca Canyon and you and your wife look just wonderful in this shot against the scenery although the chill can be sensed from her face. :D

The Canyon is worth a hike though. I loved the waterfall that found an opening through the cracks of that rock cliff.
