Little Pied Cormorant

Taken with the A700 and Tamron 200-500.
This lens needs to be kept in the F8-F11 range to do any good and even then I only have a little success with the larger birds.
The craft of birding needs to be learnt over many years and even then, a lot of patience is required.
I'm no Kingfisher but was reasonably pleased with this shot.

I'd be quite happy with that image as a record/sample species id shot, for sure...nice work.

Hi,

This is an adorable bird which has lots of character. I never saw this species this close before and your photo is intact with beautiful details which help.

It's outstanding, thanks for sharing with us. :D
