How about some autumn colour

Unread post by paulmurphy »

As the leaves are changing colour about now locally, I thought I would post a couple of autumn pics, please feel free to add one or two.

This is from last year, but I still love it, as it reminds me of Sunday afternoons and early autumn sunshine

Taken this month, a quite subdued autumn image, taken in the woods around Wallington in Northumberland

Taken last week in Leazes park Newcastle (all these leaves are on the ground now)

for me #1 is it: the backlight makes the difference, and the whole scenery is so peaceful, a perfect slice of time cut out and preseved on - wanted to say film - bytes, of courses. Nah, the technology applied does not matter, the picture is captured, and it is a good one.

How lovely! My favorite is the second, but the first is equally beautiful. I like the depth that these photos have.

The figures in #1 make it for me - as you say, an instant reminder of Sunday afternoon walks with the family / dog. Great lighting in #'1 as well. Good thread - I hope for fine weather at the weekend so that I can out amongst the leaves before they are all on the ground.
