Two images taken at a local spot on the North East coast known as Charlies Garden

Both A700, KM 17-35mm with Cokin ND grad. Both additionally processed with Redynamix HDR photoshop plug in.





This one was taken two days ago in the front garden, A700, Minolta 35f2 and no additional processing at all - mild sharpen for web only

I really like the last one! The first two are handsome but the second is a little over-processed for my taste; I can't make out any of the forms in the lower right quarter. The compositions are excellent, though, with truly spectacular atmosphere!

I like the first most.

Hi Paul - I love all three shots. The first two may well have a "processed" look to them, but I really like them none the less. The colours in #3 are great. Is this a Rowan? Our neighbour has one this colour in their front garden.

The overprocessing was deliberate as I wanted a high impact look, here are a couple less processed from the same shoot. Regarding the tree I don't know what type it is but I'll have to find out - my wife wasn't keen on it all year and was wanting to replace it until it suddenly went red with yellow berries, now she loves it!



This one is my favourite so far

I like them this way too. They are just beautiful.

I think I like the last more natural look slightly more, but they are all outstanding

I like them all. Given a choice, I would pick a contrast level in between the first and the last.

Wow, the less processed versions are pretty darned eye-popping! With the more heavily processed look it is hard to imagine myself there, as my eyes would never see anything like that. Plus, the subtle (or not so subtle) changes in color in the rocks in the foreground are simply amazing.
