Most of these were hand-held at ridiculously low speeds (except the one my wife took, which I think is the best), unfortunately this garden charges $75 to bring in a tripod.

I don't know which is shot by your wife but I can surely say all shots are great with wonderful colors and scenery.
Hope these are not the sole pictures.

Lovely pictures Kevin - #3 is my favourite, great colours. I am amazed that places charge you to take in tripods. I suppose this goes along the line of "no big lenses at sports/arena events". I'm trying to use the tripod more and it would be very off putting if charged to try and get steady shots. Thank goodness for SSS!

Love the colours and compositions, wish we had a Japanense Garden nearby.

Kevin the third one particularly appeals to me, with the red leaves and the subdued greens.

Thank you everybody! I'm glad the third image is recieving some individual attention--that was my wife's. Whereas I was trying for the wide angle to take everything in and get it all in focus, my wife just set it on auto and reminded me that you don't always have to try very hard to get good photos, just look for the pretty stuff!

I really like tranquil water scenes, (both lots) but I'd like too see your last one (Kevin's) enlarged to the same size as the rest, it looks quite good as well.

I uploaded them all to photobucket at 1024x768 and that site appears to have resized them. The last picture was the largest file at that size so it appears to have resized the image to fit maximum file size requirements. I'll see what I can do when I get home tonight, but no promises. I have a big wedding to shoot tomorrow afternoon!

Ha, how about that, I went to a wedding yesterday (my brother's no.2 daughter), so I was making a pest of myself taking photo's at ill timed moments (probably), although the pro said I was fine when I apologized afterwards. Well, she (bride) did say a week beforehand to come and take some photos....pleeeze, so what can one do.
