Lilly
This is a shot of my 3 1/2 month old, taken by my 3 year old! She's more interested in taking pictures than my 4 YO or my 12 YO!
She held and framed the the photo - using the viewfinder, she doesn't like using Live View - all by herself!
Yes, this isone of her best, but it just shows that she's improving.
Resized and resampled in Ifranview.

Re: Lilly
When her birthday comes around next Autumn, I'll keep that in mind. I can't give her a film camera, because she likes to see the instant results. Maybe a nice light 4/3 system.

Re: Lilly
I think she will have for her own the A350 much much sooner.
So Dusty, if you're planning on buying a 4/3, that will be for you, so buy another Alpha.
Cute little baby and very nice composition. Bravo to our youngest photographer and hip hip hooray.

Go girl! Way to go!
Your 3-year-old warmly won my heart Dusty, with her curiosity with what goes around her and also contributing by constructing with her growing talents. She already is decidedly purposeful with what she wants out of life.
You're on a diferent journey with this 3-year-old kid and Lilly is charming.

Re: Lilly
Well Doc, the reason I want something lighter is because she's pretty small. She was a 3 mo premie, and while she has caught up in most areas, she has a very slight build. I always make her wear the camera strap, as I'm afraid she'll drop it.Dr. Harout wrote:I think she will have for her own the A350 much much sooner.![]()

Perhaps a nice light prime instead of the kit 18-70 would help. I feel that a lot of times her composition is off because she can't hold the front-heavy camera steady.

Re: Lilly
Thank you, Yildiz, for your kind remarks. She is definitely different than her sisters, very kind, giving and sharing, especially since most young kids are fairly self centered. She is also the one who always is into books. She'll bring out 3 0r 4 at a time for me to read to her. And the other day she actually said that she was tired of watching TV! I'll have to see what I can pick up for her, if she continues to show an interest.aster wrote:Go girl! Way to go!![]()
