Dramatic light

We had a lot of cloud cover on the North East coast the last couple of days.

The sun was trying to break through and did in patches.

First pic A700 and KM 28-75mm @75mm ISO 200, Aperture priority F7.1 Shutter speed 1/1250

I think the first is amazing. With the second and third I think I would have liked to see either a little more or a little less foreground, not sure which. But that first one is spectacular. The birds and the spires give a nice sense of scale and depth.
