I took a walk yesterday despite usual snow storm (which lasted three days here). I was just sick of being unable to go out with my camera. That was a good decision as I ran into few dogs wandering around.

This guy wasn’t sure what the hell I wanted from him

And this malamute definitely had a great time running away through deep snow.

All 3 are well executed with # 3 being my favorite even though the subject could be pushed a little more to the right in the frame.

I like all three. The second and third shots comprise the kind of dog I would of wanted to own, with their nice white fur and ice-blue striking eyes and therefore I truely enjoyed the vigor for life you captured in that dog.

Number 3 is my favorite as it shows the dog's determination, one of the outstanding characteristics of these dogs. They're all lovely.

Tango can't be let loose on deep snow, she disappears



More serious is that she gets clumps of snow stuck in her fur and chooses the coldest part of the year to moult - normally she looks twice this big, instead I have a house full of orange fur.

Hi,
It finally snowed in Istanbul last night, only to disappear in the first lights of the day. My hopes were high that I'd get a shot of a cheerful doggie for this thread but got protestors instead.

Shot this morning. By the way, Tango is very cute David.

Ah well Yildiz, maybe tomorrow or the next day, but keep the red vest and leash...white dog running free + white snow hmmm

And I agreeTango is cute alright, no question...I've been doing some rough calculations, seeing as how one David print is about the same length as Tango's wheelbase, I reckon about 20" of fluffy snow + Tango = "paff" no Tango. But what David could do is maybe get one of those bicycle aerials with the little flag on the end and attach it too the collar...or better yet an RF locator beacon...

I'm actually working on a design that could serve for that very ambition! Instantaneous beaming through time per location maybe a hassle as that puts the amount of snow to be transmitted into the equation...You wouldn't wish all your snow within Poland's borders to be beamed straight to Istanbul, would you? Snow suits Poland and its nature. Hmm, too many variables are not good for a seamless workflow...but some ideas will turn up!

Yildiz, you can take whole snow from Poland I'm not big fan of this white thing

Basil is a bit like Tango.... Much deeper than this and he disappears! But he'd never seen snow before and looked just a little suspicious. Excuse the blur but he just doesn't know he's meant to stand STILL for a portrait.
