Sri Lanka fishery

In January I was again on an official mission to Sri Lanka. Being on a tight schedule, private photography was possible only in the early morning after sunrise. As there also is winter time with rough waters, there was no beach fishery with paddled outrigger boats, only some men go out in small outboard-engine propelled boats. But I met an elder fisherman with his aide, using a hand net thrown into the waves. Success rate however was low, a handful of sardine-like fishes in an hour.
