What have you got there? closest I can find in my Pizzey & Knight is an immature Crimson Rosella, that's a good grab, he'll be spectacular when the scarlet spreads all over.
I've run across Crimson Rosella's out in the bush before and they are usually quiet, all you hear normally is slight crunching noises and dropping shreds of seed husks and things, and you have too actually look around till you spot them, unlike the noisy Lorikeets and Cockatoos.

Yep Immature Crimson Rosella , is right, I have the same field Pizzey & Knight has well :)
Lots of Crimson Rosella around here, but the adults keep away from built up areas , they like having trees around them. I used to hand feed them up in a place called manson falls, Thats one of the areas hit bad by the fires. :( used to go for walks alot there. was hanging out to take the a350.

I have a few pics of adults Crimson if anyone wants to see them, but they where taken with a Pana FZ10 :)

I don't think David would mind if you snuck a couple in, just say your Minolta or Sony was in getting the sensor cleaned or something.

Or you could post a link to your on-line bird shots and mention that some were taken w/ a 350.
