We are 10 days into our Southeast U.S. road trip and just left Louisiana. Using the A700 and mostly the Sony 18-250mm. I have some Louisiana photos from various places including the French Quarter and Bourbon Street in New Orleans so take a look in the Louisiana gallery if you like:

Thanks, Doc. We have been in Florida for the last few days and I have already taken some manatee, alligator, and bird shots at Homosassa Springs. Later I plan to go back to the Everglades National Park (been there twice before). Probably visit the Keys, Miami, and then up the Atlantic Coast. St. Augustine is nice so hope to stop there again. Not sure what else just taking it as it goes.

We now expect shots from each stop.

Really like the tuba player.

My internet connection at this hotel in Ft. Myers, Florida is not so fast so I will try to watch it later when I am somewhere with better internet.

That tuba player is a goodn Henry, and those crawfish remind me of our freshwater lobster, bit of an art in cooking them though, otherwise they end up as tough as a boot, I guess you got there in Florida too late to see the Space Shuttle launch...pity, I've always wanted to see one go up myself, apparently you can hear the crackle and roar of the 9 million horse power engines from miles away.
Also watch out for the ghosts of Flt. 19 if you pass through Fort Lauderdale.
