Friendly goose

This guy was curious and came within a few feet to see what I was up to.

These are much sharper than any pictures I can ususally get of a bird, even a very friendly one (I'm beginning to suspect some FF issues with my beercan). Were you shooting with your 70-300G?

I like the first one. And I guess he (or she) just came close to check if you use A700 or A900

heh yes

he was the male of a mating pair that live on this little wetland pond. they just came home this week. Last year they were shy and kept their distance, maybe they recognized me.
He was curious about the camera but was clearly surprised it wasn't a Nikon hence the questioning look below. Kevin, thanks, Yes these are with the 70-300G.
