I realise that these are perhaps a bit of a photographic cliche now, but this is the first year that I have tried to photograph them. It is always useful to learn how others have gone about photographing this classic spring woodland scene, and so I invite everyone to post their Bluebell shots here.

Here are a few of mine from this morning to get the ball rolling. All with Tamron 17-50.

Nice shots, especially the first. I used a macro:



[Alpha 700, 100/2.8 macro @ 1/125th, f/8.

Thanks jcoffin - nice to see some different types of bluebells from other parts of the world.

I would of loved to walk down that path in the first photo Birma, it's a very charming little path...

Thank you Yildiz. It was not only the colours, but the smells and the sounds that helped pay back for the early start. The dawn chorus was in full swing, and the smells of the wild garlic and sweet blossoms helped to give a full sensory experience . I have quite a large collection of woodland path photos. I will perhaps have to start a woodland path thread instead and see if there are more of those about. Perhaps I have one for the "around the corner thread"; I'll have to see.
