jumping from an original post to test image load. . .

But do compress the files a bit. It's really taking time and a couple of reloads (refreshing) to contemplate. :)

Hello Dr. Harout,

Thank You for helping, I will compress them then, because I have to rely on a 56K modem as well and fully understand. It was worth a try but I can make any of my future images compressed as usual.

Here is the same image compressed from #12 to #9 how does it work for you? It is about 360K in size, still 1024x685??? I guess I can make the viewing size smaller as well but I'd like to be able to present as much as possible without a loss of detail and image quality? Albeit that anything for the web is a compromise at best between speed and quality. . .

Thanks for the feedback,

I also have some sort of option from my web image host SmugMug in which they will present different size images of my stored original? How does this one work?

Does it load faster?

That is a really pleasing picture. The lighting in it gives it something of the quality of a Constable landscape.

Except of course it is portrait! IYSWIM
