I was in Sri Lanka again for the last project mission and had a list of things to photograph. It turned out that I only could realize the first one, but that was worth it. This is a hit-and-run shot: I saw the bicycle, asked the driver to stop, jumped out of the vehicle and had just some seconds to adjust. It turned out to be the best possible combination of light and dust I could have wished for.

Well, you could not have got the bicycle rider to stop. I imagine with that weight, and that speed, applying the brakes would just result in a long skidmark in the dust road followed by the rider under a pile of wood. I guess he has to slow down carefully before dismounting! And also, he could not stop to express his feeling about being photographed - always a good thing to look for with candid shots.

I like the face of the man, who looks quite uninterested to what you are doing. He has a task to fulfill. Great shot.

I think that this guy is a good physicist and he could find the exact point of geometrical and physical mass centers and make them cross together with the bicycle axis , only this version can explain the situation, aren't you agree??

As a further illustration, these are the typical Sri Lanka bicycle brakes (not on his bike, I had no opportunity to inspect, I only have a qualified guess that the difference won't be too big) Oh - and don't forget to notice the slicks they use over there...
