I have found that letting my web host image server present the images in any size other than original and it does a jpg progressive scan with the resizing without having to modify the original I have uploaded for web presentations.

This should load fairly quick with what I think is a four pass scanning load.

In the UK, at least, holly berries have been getting earlier each year. Sadly, thenon-spiky leaves is not what photo agencies want despite the mass of berries. I have to hunt really hard now to find spiky leaves plus berries. My own 200-year-old holly tree is covered in them now. They have been red since October and every single berry will be stripped by birds long before Yuletide...

But that's a real MASS of berries, quite exceptional.

FrankenTree hybrid - it must be! - I have never seen our wild holly have a berry bloom like that! The image was taken at a farm nearby. This specimen is about four meters high? Maybe a tad more?
