Before my long trips I also didn't know David, I only saw a few before, but in the South part of Armenia all are mountains, nothing else and it is logical that there are many variety of lizards, there are fairly many kinds of lizards, snakes and eagles. I know every mountain of the south part, I know by heart on which mountain what kind of animal is leaving because I had some courses from my friend of animal world!!! Welcome to Armenia and I promise you will find nice shots here.
But the problem is that not every time I can catch the moment and take photos because I haven't appropriate lenses. For example I have very very nice shots of different birds which I have taken with Sony 75-300 but on 300mm which is very very soft and I am shy to introduce it because of bad quality, no sharpness.

Lovely shots Armen and you must have excellent stalking skills to have got those shots with a 50mm. Lots of detail and great colours. Thanks for your tour of the reptiles in the Armenian mountains :D I have seen grass snakes and adders in the UK but they shoot off as soon as they know you're there - they are even more nervous of us than many people are of them.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Yes but if I haven't any other choices I think about how to get closer, you know, if I had 300mm Macro it would be the nicest solution of course but I didn't feel satisfied every time without hardness :D
