We went for a walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh today, it was unusually warm for the North East coast and I am a little pink tonight!

Thought you might like to see a few pics

I like the 1st shot best. The green in the foreground leads nicely to the castle lawn in the background.

The first one is my favorite. The green is very eyecatching and leads me into the scene.

Thanks guys I agree the one with the foreground detail is the best of the shots posted, the light doesn't help when you have clear blue sky, but it feels good to be out and about in it.

A couple of follow on shots from the same walk

This is a landscape format picture of another of the rock pool facing the castle

This was a quick shot taken over the wall of Craster harbour looking towards the castle, I had seen this gentleman around the harbour earlier on, and then when I looked over the wall he had taken off his socks and shoes and was sitting paddling in the rockpool.

Woo hoo!!! Look at that white skin! :D I rarely see skin so white around here. This girl last summer was close though:

Nice shots Muprh - I too like #1. I think Dunstanburgh was my favourite of the castles in this area when I visited - probably being furthest from a car park made it quieter :) It was expensive to get in, I think English Heritage always are. There were Fulmars nesting in the cliffs on the other side of the castle.

I have heard Scots say that they only go this white after many days in the sun, before this they are blue :D .

My favorite is the set. The set together is much more powerful than any of the individual images.
