Here's a wedding shot - but on the Nikon D700, which I was testing at the time. Scions of the British aristocracy at the wedding of the daughter of the Duke of Roxburghe, attended by some minor Royalty apparently but we never saw them. Happened to be taking place 200 yards from our house, so I dropped by and shot some candids of guests. I thought this girl - though you can't see her face - had the sort of poise which made her look wonderful even when totally anonymous. She is no doubt the Hon. or Lady someone.

Even from the back she does look like a beautiful woman. Darn, she sure has some tall high heels on with really pointy heels. Must be quite tough to walk on the gravel.

Speaking of royalty, a couple of weeks ago the Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan were in Hawaii for a few days. Among other things they did while here was visit Kapiolani Park (about 2-3 blocks from me) to see the Rainbow Shower tree he planted in 1960 when he was still the Crown Prince. We walked over there to see them (first time) and I took a few photos. There were quite a few people and the police kept us fairly far away, but I got a few photos. It was a bit tough because I had to shoot between the heads of the people in front of me and on tip-toes to get over their heads. :)

I tried to post an image of the royal couple here, but the forum software keeps giving me this error message:

It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.

Strange since the image was processed the same, is the same size (long dimension 640 pixels), and on the same website as all the others I post here. Anyone have any ideas? Anyway, here is the url:

Wow, there are some really good posts on here now!! I don't want to start naming favorites, but these ones really stand out for me:

Don - The blond cheerleader in your first post has some unique qualities that make her super cute!!

DK - Your classy girl looks great from behind, and leaves plenty of details to the imagination. I just don't like the ugly, over zealous hats that these girls tend to wear.

Pako - In your first photo, there is something about the girl that keeps jumping out and grabbing my attention! I just can't put my finger on it yet, maybe it's the pink armband. :D

Henry - In your beach photo from Waikiki, the bikini girl in the foreground is close to physical perfection!

Gio - Your girl at the beach is a petite beauty.

Here is another cutie that i had the pleasure of meeting. She is a television presenter for a kids program in Australia, pictured here with her sound techie.
