Butterfly with 400mm lens

Long telephoto can be quite useful for closeups. Here is butterfly that I spotted during one of my trips. He was sitting about 10 meters from me.
And here is layered B&W conversion of above shot.

Hi Hawk,
Both are nice but I like the first with colours. Somehow the butterfly has strong and vivid colour patterns that make it stand out even with a colourful background..

Nice work Hawk,
I like the first one. I'm not a real fan of isolating the main subject by totally desaturating the rest of the photo. I prefer a more subtle approach, by slightly lowering the saturation of the rest of the photo and perhaps a tiny bit of blur.
