Last week I was out anoung the morning glories in the back yard, and along cane this butterfly.
These are all camera JPEGS resized for the forum. EXIF retained. All shot with the 75-300 Macro on my A350.
I followed him a bit.
Two more in next post.

Pretty flowers there Dusty, and it's always sort of 'special' when a butterfly happens to be attracted while you're there with the camera handy....nice one.

Indeed very nice Dusty, thanks for sharing.
If it weren't for the two antennas visible only in a couple of the shots, I would say that your morning glories were on the verge of a new evolution of growing green crown petals from their central inner parts.

The butterfly's colour wing patterns can easily be taken as of a green growth.
By the way, you created a nice, tranquil-looking backyard with those morning glories taking over the fencing. Good work!
3,5 year-old still helping you around with the gardening?

Thanks, everyone, for your comments.
Yes, Yildiz, my little ones still "help" me from time to time. Now my littlest one "helps" me whenever I carry her in the backpack. She just loves to pick leaves and see if they're tasty enough for an on-the-road salad!
