A friend asked for some butterfly pictures and I happen to have a conservatory near by. Hope she's happy with them, Comments welcome always.

Beautiful shots, Glenn.
The second one is very nice on the flower, but the third's color is awesome.

Very nice set Javelin - the large white and black butterflies on the red flowers are great shots. I guess they are all quite warmed up in a heated building and so they are active and difficult to catch still?
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

thanks Folks. the butterflies stay still a lot. there wasone thats in the gallery with a big circle on the wing thtis abright blue on top of the wings but when they are stopped their wings are fldedand you only see it whe they are flying. I onlygot one far off shot of on in flight. it's sharp but you can't really tell what it is .

I used lightrom for these andI think I'm going to go that way now instead. but I can;t seem to have it roduce JpGs with the exif intact..

Nice, Javelin, butterflies are sort of 'special' somehow, there's a few nice ones here as well but they never seem to land and sit still...
