They are beautiful and inspirational. The focus on the faces is just amazing, I love seeing all these expressions as though they were caught in the middle of saying something.

I suppose the lens is Sony 18-250 or equivalent. Quite an achievement with that lens.

Well done. Esp. #2 is great!

Lens used was a Tamron 70-300, trust me, there was more bad pics then good , they where all taken at the Currumbin wildlife Sanctuary, in Queensland Aus. One of the best bird shows I ever seen. here are a few more.

Guess I should give some more info,

photo #1 is a kite (I think)
Photo #2 Barn Owl - what we where shown about the Barn Owl was it's silent wing beats, I did not hear a thing at it few about 1m straight over my head.
Photo #3 and #6 Wedge Tail eagle Australia's biggest eagle Wing span upto 2.8m
Photo #4 Black Breasted Buzzard , In the wild the Buzzard uses rocks to break open Emu eggs.
Photo #5 Barking Owl. called that becuase it makes a dog like barking sound they also can make a blood-curdling, human-like wavering, sobbing Scream sounds, some believe these barking scream sounds are the source of some of the Australian outback monster myths.

Oh well, so much for my guessing! I tried... Good captures with the Tamron.

I like the 'expression' of the birdie yet once again in the second photo of the second post! Good pose...and in your cdirection too.
