Lovely shots Gio67,

Wonderful silver light over the water and a very serene location tha already is turning into the fall colours. Elongated shadows and green leaves edged with brown and yellow sets mellow mood. And you chose good angles that cover the area well in each shot.

I like the mild mood you captured throughout.

You guys have some great scenary in your neck of the woods, I suppose there is already a bit of a chill in the air.

Thanks for taking us by the "bonnie, bonnie banks" Gio67 I fear that whether I took the high or low road most people would get there before me, living so far South, well the Midalnds anyway. #3 is a lovely shot. I really like the building, especially the old tin roof, and then the autumn colours against the blue sky, and reflections in the river. I think the composition of this one really draws the eye in to the picture. I can't "get in to" #1, although I expect the sun on the water was amazing.

I do like the first and third one. The first one might be even better in sepia (it nearly looks like sepia anyway) or b&W.

thanks again but you can hardly help but take nice pictures in scotland at this time of year, all the different shades of green turning brown and gold , and the blue skies its beautiful

#2 & 3 for me. The first is rather coldish to me, kind of melancholic. I agree with Bossel for a sepia touch.
