from the scottish highlands yesterday

this is looking up loch ness from fort augustus, it was dark when i took this, i lit the stones in the foreground with little keyring torch, would loved to have seen it during the day

these two are of the same house in glencoe, just about a mile outside the visitor centre coming from glencoe village,
the second one was really a bit of luck i got it on the way back, it just had it all, the mountains ,the sheep, the river , tho old gate and even a waterfall in the centre background, , the scene was awesome and my pics don,t do it justice, if your ever there look out for this house and pull into the lane beside it

Get a Gorillapod torch! They are amazing, unbelievable level of output highly concentrated from a single LED into a spot.

never seen them before david, this was the first time i used this sort of thing, i remembered reading it in some magazine or other and gave it go, i'll get one of those
