Photo Books - Have been busy

If you wonder what am I up to these days: I have been doing books. After finishing some private stuff, I started two photo books. There was a special offer from blurb (expiring soon) and I took this to force myself to finish the two ideas I had.
I made one book about our holiday in Venice (80 pages, A4 landsacpe, around 130 pics out of >500) and one 'best of 2006-2009'. I chose 330 pics out of a few thousands, like 2-10 pages of every (well, not every) place we visited. It's now a 160 pages book, the maximum for blurb if you choose the premium paper.
That's 240 pages in total. Those who have done photo books before know how much work this represents. Photo selection, post processing, grouping, rotating (horizons), finding matching (or contrasting pictures) for each page! In any case, the new blurb software (as compared to the 1st book I did) is much improved and we're looking forward to hold them in our hands.
Will post an overview later.

Hi Bossel,
Looking good, yet too small to browse for vewing pleasure at this dimension. Still though, it was nice to see a Venetian photo that you entered to 'Right Around The Corner' challenge!

I like that shot.. And I assumed that in some photos I saw you and probably your wife...and some more outstanding Venetian architecture.
Bellisima Album!

I just learned something new: You can now use Blurb to allow a full preview (all pages) of your books! I was browsing some new posted books and was positively surprised
Till now didn't post the blurb links because the 15 first pages aren't really the best of each book. But since you can now see all, I post them. There are a few pics of my wife and myself, if you don't mind. After all, these books should remind us of the places we have visited and don't have a commercial intention!

I thoroughly enjoyed viewing your photo book and the lovely images. It brought back many memories of my one and only visit to Venice in 2008 to attend a photo workshop. What a great way to record the trip too.
Thanks for sharing.
