Railroad Sunrises

I worked a series of night shifts over New Years, after which I got off work in time to see the sunrise three mornings in a row. These are not the dawn of New Years Day, but close. These three are all with the a700 + Tamron 17-50/2.8

Brrr that looks chilly KB, almost as cold as one of Murph's, that water does not look inviting at all...who would like to be a railyard shunter? they must get paid well to be out in that connecting wagons and stuff....

the first for me too kevin, very atmospheric with the mist rising from the river and great composition, the river takes your eye for a sail right down it

Lovely dawn colours KB, I especially like #3 (just to be different ), with the detail of the rolling stock and the lines running away in to the distance. I'm not sure you have "train-spotters" in the US, but if you did then this is the sort of shot they would have on the wall .
