since i have the SAL 70-400 it`s my favorit lens , i have also the SAL 70-200 2,8 , but the most of the time he stay in my bag

Lovely shots Gustav, I can see why you like that lens, here it's a tad on the expensive side. Sony have it listed at $2,700.00 AU, Camera Action (Australia) at $2,349.00 (accepting orders) which means they don't carry one in stock, and B&H New York at $1,600.00 US, which is probably the best option depending on how much import duty one would have to cough up.

no it`s not in the wild , it`s in a zoo

for the snowy owl , you must shoot through a fence
some of the picture`s is taken at 400MM
and with all the picture`s i had my camera in my hand

in the netherlands this lens cost 1289 euro that`s 1850 USD
so greg B&W is indeed very cheap

it`s a very good shop in japan , they sell first class glass , they are really good
some friends of me , they buy there , and always very positve

this shop send also there stuff , as a normal packed , and writh a low price on it , so u don`t have problems with customs and tax

The snowy owl is amazing those yellow eyes are very striking. I have to agree the red panda is very cute - you have captured a great texture in the birds feathers and the pandas fur.

Such details and sharpness speak for the quality of the lens: striking fur and feather details while capturing the animals with their innate characterisitical appearances.

As a previous poster suggested, I am curious what your photos will be like when you acquire an A900 and shoot with the 70-400 G.

All in good time Gustav. There's no rush. I'm sure there'll be a dslr worth buying and finding the money for which may even be better than the A900.
