Congratulations Ewannawe! 
That's a nice side-line lighting which makes the skin texture and the photo natural.
I may be wrong but I had the notion that the baby is a 'she' who one day was to wear the frills and do the twirls and swirls... while her daddy would chase after her with a camera.

He may well turn out to be a 'she', who knows, you can't predict these things. Personally I'm just delighted that - so far - we appear to have another relaxed baby not inclined much to crying and wailing.
And.. tadadaaa.. I just won an e-bay auction for a Tamron SP AF 90 F2.8 Di so you might get to see some more pictures in about a week. Delighted to have finally got a macro. Pictures of his nostril anyone?

One of the first few pics taken with my new lens, so far I'm impressed with it. Though I was initially confused as to how to use the macro side of it as I'd never seen a focus limiter nor used a macro lens before. Got it sussed now though.
