Coast trip.

The old and the new, the small wooden housing contains a blue light that shines upstream to the mouth of the river. You can see the single wire leading into the building from the pole on the right. Meanwhile to the left of frame is modern technology in the shape of wind generators.

Here's a shot from the front showing the light. I don't know much about maritime code but I never knew they used blue, port and starboard being red and green respectively.

Glorious blue sky weather! I wonder if the blue light is one that shipping is meant to follow rather than avoid? Just speculating.
