Lucky. all our arenas have nets over the glass and you have to try and shoot though it

The nets are at the ends only, have to keep an
eye on the puck here!

Nice action shots David Antony. 
Good thing that the blue eagle kept its head mask piece on however inadequate the protection may be. He does look rather scornful though...

Hi David,
Nice shots of the ice hockey, hope you don't mind if I add a few on the same theme - we went to our first ice Hockey game on Saturday (27th Feb) Newcastle Vipers vs Sheffield Steelers, and had a good night apart from losing 2 - 4.
All pics Sony A700 (at ISO 1250) + Sigma 70 - 200 f2.8 HSM

Pretty good shots, I didn't think it would be possible to shoot through the glass and get good shots like that.

BTW Congrats on the Ice Hockey Olympic Gold DA. I get the impression that that medal was one of the more important ones....
