Ocean path ... it's all about catching those moments

This was taken with Sony A550 with the CZ 16-80 mounted on a Cullmann Magnesit 532 tripod with the Cullmann ball head 40200.
I took severel shots, some with flash, others without it... and well ... in the end of the day i got this

Lovely shot Pedro - I like the sky and the stream leading in to the picture. You have me missing the sea already

Hi Pedro, I think DK was refering to Paul Murphy who posts many beautiful images here, but especially sea-scapes. Browse some of the threads that Paul has started in "Give it Your Best Shot" to see. It is a high accolade indeed

Muito bem, Pedro! I like to slow shutter speed's effect on the stream, it always looks so peaceful.

Bem feito- I can rarely capture such dynamic range as well as you have.. I agree with Dusty on the long shutter speed. It really adds to the image. Bravo!

If my memory is correct, Dusty has mentioned that he lived in Brazil for some time.
That would explain his use of Portuguese, and also his accent.

Brazilian Portuguese and Native Portuguese have some differences ... for outsiders are not noticeable but even me, when listening to Brazilians, sometimes have difficulties trying to understand what they say. Of course, it's not the usual words and the cheap chat ... it's just those special words that they say that i think " ... that's a funny word ... but what the heck does it means!? "
