cropped gazell

Agreed, removing the bright sky makes a big difference.

Congratulaations on your new lens! :)

That' a very graceful shot of the gazell. You've got an excellent portrayal of elegance and character. The amount of detail and sharpness is rewarding with this lens.

I like the cropped version but I also liked the frame that I saw earlier today with all of the terrain and the background; gives a strong impression of being in its natural environment intead of a special setting in a zoo.

Cropping this shot was a good idea. Didn't want to mention but in the non cropped version the out of focus bushes were too distracting. Kind of stole the look.
This is much much better.

I prefer the non-cropped version for a fuller perspective. Probably the crop version is better to show case the deer and had it not been the zoo, the non-crop version would have conveyed the essence better.
