Ahoy!

Firstly, I'm hopeless at pp. Secondly, the 'HDR' version was done in PSP X2 and the B&W in CS2 with a slight crop off the bottom to get rid of people queuing, and should now draw your attention to the centre hub. I'm sure some one could work wonders with the RAW's to create top quality end results.

Personally I like all the curves, angles and geometry that the structure and lens have created together.

Both taken with A700 + Samyang 8mm f/3.5 MC Fisheye.

Ahoy Pirate - I also like the lines and curves accentuated by the fisheye - nice to see some pictures from this lens. PP looks fine to me - perhaps they could have the contrast boosted a bit to make the structures stand out even more?

These are very nice, Pirate.

I agree with Birma, a little contrast may add a deeper third dimension to your shots. I like the curvelinear effect generated by the fisheye lens.

Wow, it's a very disorienting effect there, particularly because of all the curved lines that were already in the scene before the fisheye distorted them further. The first is my favorite, looking rather like a modern day Escher drawing.

Hard to better the colour treatment of the first one - the mono could do with more impact. The HDR effect makes the first image look almost like an interior with a ceiling due to the shading of the sky. Very confusing in a good way!

Both look great! Good work!

By the way, your white text on the super pale blue background is almost unreadable. :(

I have no idea what you guys are on about (pale blue background) as as far as I know the text is grey on black.
