Thanks Henry and Birma, it was just a bit of fun using the ‘Person of Interest’ theme, I wasn’t sure if either of you had seen it, it’s a popular show here from what I understand, I quite like it myself. (I wasn't happy that they killed off Det. Carter though)

This is actually an older shot, taken last year when I was experimenting with older manual focus lenses on my NEX-6. In this case the lens was a Russian Jupiter 9 (85mm) lens

I happened to be looking back through these photos today, and suddenly realized that this happens to be an image that qualifies for this thread.

Hefay- Love the shot and the story..

Henry.. I'm sure they have 'detailed files' of you now....

This was from our recent trip to Big Bend National Park. I saw my shadow on the ground, and took a shot... It was kinda boring, so I lifted up my left arm in this pose... KB suggested that I was singing.. So I made up a few lyrics.. With apologies to Julie Andrews.. And anyone that likes "The Sound of Music"

'The hills are exposed by Sony sen-sors'
'With focus that is phased translucently'

I am knee deep in band photography one again, but Friday night was my favorite night of the season. The school that my daughter goes to plays at the stadium that I marched at as a high school student.. That is, until I was kicked out of band... But that's another story. Ironically, MNHS plays the high school that my wife graduated from, at the stadium by the school I went to, so it is always a special night for me. I'm always trying to find new compositions for my work, and reflective sunglasses provide a great surface to work with.

Nice one! I like that you can see the nighttime football field in the background too.

Thanks guys... I had (in my mind) resolved to not take so many pictures of the band this year, but then I went to the first game, and so many kids and parents asked if I was going to do it again... I couldn't say no. I've been trying to up my creativity on the shots too... Hard to believe that this is my 5th year doing it...
