The irony was that although it looks like there should be no cars, they were not restrcited from using the streets ("if you can fit your car down the street then go for it" seemed to be the attitude!). As you can imagine car parking was somewhat at a premium. I have also made it look like the streets were deserted which was not the case during most of the day (and night

) in July.

I thought of you Henry several times as I can well imagine you enjoying an exploration of the town and then capturing the variety of fishermen, artists, surfers and tourists that throng the streets.
Beach bars were also a bit of a novelty to my wife and I, who are more used holidaying on the wind swept isolation of the Hebridean coast rather than the hustle and bustle of Cornwall in the summer. (In fact finding any sort of bar is a challenge in that strongly Presbyterian area of Scotland).
